Filmmaking Workshop
FOR WRITERS, DIRECTORS/PRODUCERS, AND ACTORS!
It is truly a unique learning experience which will prepare you for shooting in the real world & your further education in this field!
The FILM MAKING CLASS is an immersive, collaborative course designed to put our students to work. Directors, Producers, and Actors are teamed together and tasked with creating a professional level short film.
Through this 12-week filmmaking classes:
Students will go through pre-production, shooting, and post to deliver a polished work. Student directors will be responsible for writing and directing The course culminates in a screening of the students’ final films, which is open to cast, crew, family, and friends. Upon the successful completion of the course, students take home a digital master tape of all their projects
The first six weeks filmmaking classes :
Students are devoted to the study of four primary elements of filmmaking: writing, directing, and editing. To apply the concepts they learn in class, students write, produce, direct, and edit two short film exercises, using HD cameras (Canon 5D).
In the second six weeks:
Each student writes, directs, shoots and edits a short film of up to 6 to 8 minute with multiple tracks of sound including ambiance, sound effects and voice over.
The course culminates in a screening of the students’ final films, which is open to cast, crew, family, and friends. Upon the successful completion of the course, students take home a digital master tape of all their projects
The 12 Week film making workshop begins Sunday’s 2pm-5pm
